DC Comics Super Heroes: The Watchtower is a Plug It In & Play Hero Portal developed by HotGen and published by Jakks Pacific Interactive in 2014. Using toy figures similar to Skylanders, you place a figure on the gateway to play in the game.

Hero Plug & Play unit and figures

Unlike the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Heroes in a Half Shell and Power Rangers Super Megaforce: Legendary Power Hero Portal, Instead of having a portal base unit and hardwired controller, both the portal and controller are combined into one with two figure slots called "gateways" on the controller.

GameplayEdit

The game is a beat em' up with six stages and each stage has three mini-game challenges. Mini-games include training, flying, and Batman driving his Batmobile or Wonder Woman and The Flash running to stop an enemy. Collecting all the Father Boxes in the game unlocks the Ultimate Hero Mode.

Design and FiguresEdit

For some reason, the box and figure packs call this as "Hero Plug & Play" instead of Hero Portal.

Superman and Batman figures are included in the starter pack. Booster packs include Wonder Woman and The Flash, Green Lantern and Cyborg.
